Often our customers ask why opt for fiberglass doors when there are so many options available in the Greater Toronto Area. The answer is quite simple. Thanks to an innovative technological advance called “Accugrain,” Fiberglass doors band now be designed to duplicate real solid oak grain when stained. They are also designed to withstand extreme impact and pressure.
Unlike traditional wooden doors, they do not bow under extreme conditions and are figured with 4 inch laminate wood jams to prevent warping and rotting. They are also protected with steel reinforcement around the edges, just like our steel doors.
Since insulation is one of customer’s primary concerns, we only use HCFC-free polyurethane foam, which is about seven times stronger than traditional wooden doors. This added installation is eco friendly and has a low u-volume and meets the standards of both the Ozone Protection and Environmental Standards of Canada. Also, our fiberglass doors are protected with composite rails to guard your home from insect invasion as well as from rotting and warping, which makes them low maintenance and hassle free.
We recommend a multi point lock system for our clients on either or fiberglass or steel doors to provide extra security and protection from home intrusion. They also will not warp as they are resistant to drastic temperature changes. They are available in a wide variety of colors and can be finished to match the door design.
